boards with the best color and figure so they can be used for the tops.

This club project, like our previous workshops, is a great way for beginners to learn how to do woodworking and for experienced woodworkers to improve their skills. I have been doing woodworking since I was five years old, and doing it seriously since I was 14, and I still learn from these workshops. Theworkshops are also a good way to get to know other members

Valley Woodworkers of West Virginia was formed in February 1991.  The purpose of the club is to serve as a means for individuals interested in the many areas of woodworking, as a hobby or as a profession, to meet fellow woodworkers and to share experiences, information and ideas.

Members exchange woodworking ideas, tips, techniques, and sources won such topics as project design, planning, tool use, finishing, refinishing and joinery.
