ELECTION OF OFFICERS
A motion was made, seconded, and passed to hold the election of officers during
the November meeting. A nominating committee will be formed at the September

SHOW AND TELL
Glenn Pauley showed a picture frame he made of maple and walnut. He also had
some turnings that were made from pieces of walnut, maple, and sassafras. After
the pieces were glued together the turning blank was cut at an angle.
Roy reveal also brought a picture frame that was an antique reproduction. The
pine frame was stained, a coat of shellac was applied, and then several coats of
polyurethane. He also had an eight sided box made entirely with a router.
BUY AND SWAP MEET
The buy and swap meet seemed to be a success. Most people got rid of most, if
not all, of the items they brought. There were several excellent buys made.
